Background
The United Christian Democrat Party (UCDP) was founded in 1937 by Nikolai Ern and Ivan Belyaev, making it the oldest political party in Chistorossiya. However, after being the main political party for 80 years, it has gradually lost influence. In 2017, the UCDP supported highly unpopular bills, causing it to lose many of its more progressive followers to the Social Democrats and Socialists. Despite this decline, the party has experienced a recent resurgence in numbers since 2023, thanks to the successful Peron and current Ern administrations.

The Socialists of Chistorossiya (SoC) is a relatively young party, having been established in 2015 by Samuel Ruiz, a prominent underground socialist. The SoC is currently the second largest party in Chistorossiya, with a membership primarily composed of liberal youths and workers. The Social Democrats of Chistorossiya (SDoC) is a "compromise" between the UCDP and SoC, but despite being the second-oldest party, it has not been able to gain a large following. Currently, the SDoC is barely a party, lacking its own agenda and instead following the rhetoric of the UCDP or SoC whenever it is convenient.
